MISSION & OBJECTIVE
The mixable festival was founded by the Misiconi Foundation and founder Joop Oonk with the help of an Erasmus + subsidy and Fund Culture Participation. The mixable festival stands for a diverse and inclusive programming, through which knowledge can be shared from best practices and new talent can be discovered. Discussing parts and dreaming comes first. The festival is aimed at performing artists who work with exceptional talent in the broadest sense of the word. Interdisciplinary work between all forms of performing arts is encouraged. Our identity is interdisciplinary, practically oriented diverse, inclusive, decisive and straightforward.
The mixable festival aims for an innovative diverse and inclusive programming in which talent is given a stage. The festival has a strong regional focus, but can highlight a different theme for each edition. In the future, the festival will have more support in both the community and professional branch of the Misiconi Foundation. We hope to broaden and deepen knowledge sharing through the festival, but also to create more visibility for exceptional talent and the Misiconi foundation.
